Shadow: Shadow Stanger is a 5th-year Art History and Museum Studies student at the University of Lethbridge|Iniskim (Sacred Buffalo Stone). A Scorpio, Shadow grew up in Drumheller|Ma'Tapiiks (Stone People), fascinated by the many sentinel spirits of the Canadian Badlands. Shadow has a background in funeral direction & embalming and identifies as a death-positive artist. Shadow’s practice is grounded in the traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Treaty 7, where they now feel at home in Lethbridge|Sikóóhkotok (Black Rock).
